How would this new facility benefit our program?
- We would have the training facility necessary to start the first Hungarian Baseball Academy with indoor batting cages, pitching mounds and other necessary training equipment.
- This would allow us to offer year around training for our club teams. Because of lack of availability and the high cost of renting a gym, we can only offer a VERY limited winter training program.
- This would provide the possibility of training after dark in the spring and fall when darkness comes early as well as the possibility to conduct practices in doors on rainy days.
- With quality facilities to care for guests, we could host international tournaments including accommodation for guest teams.
- Well equipped and secure locker rooms would provide safety, security and convenience for our players and guest teams. Both male and female players will be able to change their clothes in locker rooms instead of in public which is our current practice.
- This would allow us to stop spending $100 a month to rent a stinky portable toilet for our players and spectators!
- This would give us the ability to have team activities such as watching training videos, conducting white board team trainings, hosting our youth Ba
seball Clubs and just hanging out together viewing MLB games before and after practices and games! - This facility would give us a secure place to store our equipment and eliminate having to be store equipment off sight and transport it to each practice and game, especially the pitching machine!
- Finally, a Club house would give us a place to display our Club’s trophies and build club identity and spirit.
Estimated cost for this project is $200,000 (160,000 Euro, 50 million Forint).
